In Vegas 5 how would I change my dvx100a's squeeze frame into widescreen and add the letterbox? ???

Go to File>Properties

Set the Template to one of the widescreen settings.

If it still doesn't look right, right click on the preview window and make sure that "simulate device aspect ratio" is checked.
