Spreadsheet capture with Premiere

I am entering the 48 Hour Film Competition this weekend and we are looking for ways to capture our footage faster. I know that in final cut you can make a spreadsheet in Excel and then import it and batch capture and it will cut all your clips for you. I have heard that there is a way you can do this in premiere but I don't know how. Can anyone explain how to do this?
Thanks.

You can create a csv, or tab-delimited .txt file and premiere will import it using "import batch list" from the menu
