Spot the movie influences--

[Batutta]

Two major film influences on this piece, my first music video which was shot on the Letus Economy and my crusty old FX-1. One of them is easy, the other more obscure. There is also a third movie reference for the eagle eyed--

John Carpenter's "They Live"

Well the one I noticed is Maya Deren's 'Meshes of the Afternoon' with the woman with a mirror for her face. Really not a fan of Deren though, and that mirrored face always freaked me out.

Cool video.

is that showing the inside of the adapter? i was gonna try to use that. or is it just a post effect? either way it looks really cool.

Yeah, that's zoomed back on the adapter a bit. Thought it fit the song, "mirror in the next room".
