As I watched.. or sat through rather.. the horrid King Arthur... it occurred to me...
Has Lord of the Rings spoiled medieval movies for me? All I saw in King Arthur, was movie set.. after movie set...then sound stage... back to location movie set...
add to that a story that went nowhere... and that sums up the experience of this craptacular film.
why oh why can't a studio stop and think... maybe if we make a good movie... and market it as much as a bad movie.. people will go to see it?
I guess bruckheimer logic took over in this instance...
this movie sucked so much.. I was expecting it to stink.. but not this much...
one good thing that came out of watching it... I respect the crew that worked on the lord of the rings even more now... because of all the detail they put into there work.. the sets didn't look like someone had just painted it with Home Depot paint..
oy..just venting.
