I am sure there is a way somehow but I wanted to do a split screen shot in Vegas and am having trouble figuring it out. Actually I want to have a sort of credit roll along the left side while having the video continuing on the right side. Would appreciate any help. Thanks a ton.

sweet!!! so is there a way to controll the Sony Credits Plug in so that the text is off tothe side? I was having a hard time using it and now that I found this it is going to be something that I might use to add the out-takes to the credits to shorten the total time of a project in the future... some festivals ask for 5min shorts including credits!
 
Track motion is totally new to me. Do you have to have an individual track for every time you want to crop and split the screen? Is there an easy way to crop within the image and move at the same time, and do that with two images...
say image A... zoom in a bit re-centering clip A on a specific point say a dog in the image... then slide clip A to fill the left side of the screen only... and slide clip B in allready zoomed/cropped on the same dog (clip B is a different angle) so that clip B fills the right side of the screen... then show all of clip B filling the screen with it...

even if I didn't make myself clear you might get what I am trying to learn how to do... is there a clear cut way to crop within a clip AND move the clip around...
