Split Audio Channels?

How do I split my audio channels to seperate tracks?

First create a project that has to mono audio tracks, or just create 2 mono tracks.
While the clip is still in project window (not in the preview window) go up to Clip>audio options>source channel mapping. Then just click on the mono button. Next drag the clip into the timeline and you should have seperate tracks of audio.

This is for Premiere Pro 2.0

Thanks! I was trying to do that on the timeline, which of course doesn't work.
