Hello, Im going to be going down to Mexico City to shoot a band for a month for a documentary and need some sholder suport for my DVX. I have pritty much no money so im looking into the spiderbrace ( www.spiderbrace.com ), it really is the only thing I can afford. My question is, I will be on my feet most of the time and I have no remote focus or zoom controls, should I get the Spiderbrace Mini Rig or the SpiderBrace 2? It seems like the spiderbrace 2 gives more support but it has 2 handles wich makes it seem like I wouldnt have a free hand for zoom or focus, the Mini rig han only one handle limiting the stability, but it leaves a free hand. Any advice on wich to buy concidering the variables?
thanks in advance

I have a spiderbrace 2 -- you can still effectively use it with only one handle -- it is really lightweight. The SP2 will give you more flexibility -- when you set your camera down, the brace acts as a stand for the camera. I am not sure how well the mini will keep the camera from tipping on its side.

I have the spiderbrace 2 and quite like it. You can use it quite easily with 1 hand though you still need good stable control when using it with 1 hand or 2.
