spider brace vs the dv rig pro

so I was on a shoot this weekend and I had the spider brace and was b camera and my friend was a camera and he had the dv rig pro....and let me just say he blew me out of the water

now granted he is a better operator than me...but the spider brace didn't really handle and when I tried on the dv rig pro with the bar and everything it was clear how superior it was

I realize if you are on a budget you think the spider brace is cool...but honestly in my opinion it is a waste of time and money....just break down and get the better rig

I learned the hard way.....

I will be buying a dv rig pro...most likely the hd version.....man what a painful lesson

I own both and I don't use the spiderbrace anymore but it does help vs going straight handheld. The spiderbrace is a much different system then the dvrig so I really would compare them per se
