Spicing up images

I need some help!
I am finishing up this corporate DVD (it is for an oganization that connects native comunities to the internet)

While I have broll of classrooms, kids playing, some native art. On there own there is not a whole lot of punch. I have done some layering, with these images, along with some background animation, I feel like I need more. There are six short videos, and altogether they have a one trick pony feel to them. This is a great organization (they love what they have seen), but I want to make it more visually interesting.
I feel like I have hit a wall. I have tried some interesting colour correcting, that helps, but I am very open to any ideas.
Toss out anything. I have a few days to play, and am willing to give things a try. Thanks in advanve to any help.

What about music? Adding a timely transition cue or even different songs under the image can change the feel of the piece immensely.

As for spicing it up... I'd maybe take a look at some other videos that run along the same lines as what you are doing. Check out what works for them, then evaluate if adding more spice helps your project.
