Speeding up without lowering pitch

I swear at some point in FCP I knew how to do this, but it's been so long since I've needed to that I really forget.
I am trying to speed up a heartbeat sound effect to create tension, however within FCP I am finiding it hard to speed it up while maintaining pitch, even just roughly. Will I have to go into Soundtrack Pro for this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, I have tried multiple times from different computers to search but I keep getting this strange error message about my request being 71 bytes too large. Dunno what that's about (happened to me first on friday and I thought it was overload from RED's announcement).

First off, it raises the pitch if you speed it up. Second, all you have to do is compensate; change the speed, then apply an audio effect to correct the pitch.

Thanks Cassius. I do know the relationship between speeding it up and slowing it down in regard to pitch change...my question is what effect in FCP (in specific) will allow me to change the pitch back to something similar to what it started out as?
