Speed, I saw your post about having a dolly you made out of rollerblade wheels and pvc, do you have any pics/construction notes?

I'd be interested in checking it out.

Thanks,
Chico

Not sure exactly how to curve, but Im liking this concept even more:

Re: speedbump, got a rollerblade dolly?

that ladder dolly rules! but i would worry about tipping it over, rest assured it would happen to me. i would trip while walking along when getting the shot , and my little dvx would be all humpty dumpty'd on the ground. i think i would like it more if i just made a tall pedestal for the camera and put the ladder on the ground with some sort of arms spread 90 degrees out from the ladder, so it wouldnt tip as easy or somthing. ..maybe jsut a broomstick through a ladder rung hole.. that should do it.

Re: speedbump, got a rollerblade dolly?

I like this concept because I could get my feet under as oppossed to stepping on the tracks. The lower the center of gravity the btter obviuosly. Ill be looking into this setup.

..i hadnt thought about tripping on the ladder on the ground.. let alone some stinking broomstick sticking out! man .. i guess they made it like that for a reason. :)

I'm shooting today, so can't post pics, but I'll get some pics and info about my own DIY rig ASAP.
