Hey everyone...
I just noticed something that is a bit worrisome.
attached are 2 stills taken from the HMC150.
1. with a Hoya UV filter purchased on eBay (used)
2. without filter
As you can see, it looks horrendous with all the little specs with the filter on. without the filter. its better, but still lots of specs.
naturally, all of this is really clear when pointing towards a light source, but even shooting outdoors, i notice specs coming in and out of my picture.
i tried cleaning the lens and filter with a lens cloth but nothing seems to make any difference.
i've never noticed this before with any other cameras. i point my canon t2i complete with dust and finger prints on the hoya filter and the resulting image is clean as a whistle.
any ideas?
thanks
