I have been looking for many info at this forum. There ara lots of very valuable information, but I see kind of "reinventing the wheel" solutions and "to make a living" in order to get the parts (e-bay, ...).

I would like to know a "standarized" way of making a 35 mm adapter.

i.e. If you have a HV20 or HC-1 (37 mm thread and 10X zoom) you could buy the following:

Go to www.thorlabs.com (or www.knightoptical.co.uk, or any other) an go to products/optics

Here you have: achromatic doublets and diffusers

Achromatic doublets/visible achromats: there are positive and negative doublets, with different diameters an focal lengths. Which one?

diffusers/ground glass diffusers: here are with different diameter and grit. I dont know which grit if better (big number or small number).( i.e. DG20-1500 - Ground Glass Diffuser, D=2.0", 1500 GRIT): Which one to choose?

Any help?
Any suggestion?

(I dont know other online optical companies. I have just find these two. Any other?)

Thank you very much!

JI Simon
