Specialty Lenses for the 100B?

Some web-based companies are selling DVX100B packages that include (among other things) a wide angle and a telephoto lens. Can you physically attach a lens like that to the DVX100B, or is this just some kind of scam?
 
dont get those grey market cams. if they arent authorized dealers, stay awya.
 
those are wide and tele adapters, screw on, and they are poor quality. don't waste your time at one of those brooklyn bait and switch joints.
 
There are quality wide-angle options, from Century Optics, the Red Eye, and the Panasonic to name a few; and a quality teleconverter option available from Century Optics. But if you're looking at anything that says "Digital Optics" or "Crystal Optics" or "Crystal Vision", that's a good sign that should be very careful about how you choose to conduct your business.
