New to the forum, my name isIsmail and I have some inquiries.
I've used Vegas for a couple of years and been successful at satisfying my customers with proffesional production including a presentation in front of the mayor. I am really ready to take my editing to the next level and I am wondering if it is essential that I really learn another program such as After Effects or Boris Red to really do anything I want in terms of special effects and titling. I have heard that Vegas can do 90 percent of what those programs do but I'm not sure how sure truthful that is. If it is true, can someone direct me to the right places to study this.
Also are there plugins similar to trapcode's shine that I can use in Vegas? I need as much info on limitations of Vegas and advantages of using other programs that I can get.
Lastly, I need workflow suggestions. How are some of you working between various effects programs and vegas. Anything I can get would be much appreciated.
