Speaking Of Baseball...Name Your All-Time Roster...

Even though I chose the '27 Yankees as the Best of All Time, My Favorite of All Time would have to be the 1965 Dodgers. Pitching and speed. Koufax and Drysdale.

OK, now that I've gotten PMs for everyone regarding my list, let me say, Joe D has been on my list at other times. I just left him off this time because I wanted to. He deserves to be there, but I left him off, personal opinion and choice. He deserves to be there though.

Gosh, and I thought I was anal when it came to the Yankees.

LOL Jeremy ! I can't say I've seen those other teams play so I gotta go with what I know (In contrast to a players history, I think that is easier to quantify)

Hey Yank

I was at Gwynn's last game (When Ricky hit his 3000 hit)

My brother and I sat like literally right there (If this picture was any bigger damn it)

How cool is that ?

That is awesome. My father was at the World Series game when Jackson hit 3 HRs. The biggest game I've been at was when Bo Jackson struck out and broke the bat over his knee or when Henderson stole 3 bags, neither of which comes close to Gwynn.

Still great tales though !

I was at The game when Padres lost to ATL (The year Padres went to the Series) Crappy seats "/ but drunk as skunks

Anyone else as angry as I regarding this rain delay? I mean, nothing sucks worse than being piss drunk in the 4th then having rain screw the buzz. I'm dying over here (NY accent).

Unfortunately, I had great seats...
whan, at Three Rivers Stadium, a certain Frank Thomas (Chicago) hammered a ball 519' into the upper deck during the 94 All-Star Game's home run contest (I shoulda been in the nose-bleed section!

)

Also, I saw Mike Schmidt hit his 500th homerun back in 87.

I gave up on it and watched Entourage and the Sopranos on the west coast feed. Gotta be at work in 7 hours and because I worked out at like 10pm tonight I am so wired there isn't a chance of me sleeping worth $hit tonight. Oh well, baseball tonight should be on!
