Spasmodic

Re: Spasmodic

fantastic. Daft Punk rocks too. Really enjoyed the creativity used here. How long did it take to shoot?

Re: Spasmodic

Holy crap!
That was hilarious!

Way to go man, that was truly inventive...the cuts were SO perfect!

Re: Spasmodic

I see a lot of things that impress me here but only rarely am I moved to post. That was extremely creative, funny, and well-edited. Kudos!

Re: Spasmodic

We started taking pictures at 1 am and finished the whole video by 6 am. To save time I was editing while my friends were still taking pictures. The hardest part was just thinking what to take pictures of to fill the song.

To everyone whos replied so far, thank you for all the comments, you guys rock.

Re: Spasmodic

what was the name of that song? oh yeah, great work! im new to editing, what all did you use? is stop motion complex?

Re: Spasmodic

The song is Teachers by Daft Punk... and I used Adobe Premiere. Stop motion really isnt all that complex we just took a lot of photos and then synced the images with the beat of the song. Thats really the best explination I can give. Thanks for the comments everyone!!

*Flippin' Sweet*

You did that in Adobe Premiere? Wow!! I'm gonna have to get my Digital Camera and give it a try sometime. How do you take the stills and sync them together? I've never tried doing anything like this with Adobe!! ~reservoir~

Re: Spasmodic

You got to do it one beat at a time, its a tedious project I know but once you're done its worth it. It also helps if you have an ear for music. But basically you import your stills and drag one into the timeline. Then you just listen to the music and for every beat you make the clip that long... or if you zoom in really far you can usually see the sound waves for yourself.

Heres a picture to explain what I mean...

And if you are doing it right and stick at it, you'll end up with so many images your timeline will look insane like this...
