i imported some footage after editing in premiere.after doing some level changes i exported from AE to avi. the end result is as expected if it was not for sparks like effects randomly in every part of the resultant movie when i play in media player. although i have not tested this on a TV yet i am sure that the end result will be the same since i have noted this when doing some text in an intro which at the tie seemed like text not rendrred well. any idea why? i shot in progressive and i have set setting in premiere to note this before importing to AE. am using PAL. any ideas why? 10x.

Can you post any screenshots or footage? It's kinda hard to visualize a "sparks like effect" from just exporting.
the reason for those sparks was that when exporting from AE i used video setting -> compression DVCPRO. I have exported to compression NONE and the sparks disapeared. To my surprise however the sparks remained when i exported to compression DV-PAL. 3 minutes of uncompressed avi however used 3G of harddiskspace. can you assist me in uploading an image, i read that you need to insert an img tag in the help and in the FAQ it refers on using the browse button at the button of the page but i could not find any browse button...and i work in IT

just put

at teh end, with no spaces in between.
