Spam

Maybe I had this too much when I was a kid...but how does anybody eat SPAM? (unless you're Hawaiian, of course.)

The last time I ate Spam was in 2002 while on a moose hunt in central Alaska. Slices of the nitrate-heavy food by-product were affixed to the ends of small, pointy branches serving as skewers and cooked over an open fire. We polished it off with a splash of vodka in our Mountain Dews that we called Vodka Dews. As we trekked, we snacked on a steady diet of rose hips and no-seeums. Ultimately, a moose gave his life and there was much rejoicing... and fresh backstrap. :)

It's actually not all that bad if you're hammered and you slice it thin, then fry it. I live about an hour from the SPAM museum in Austin, MN. I've never been bored enough to go there, though.

I have a friend who is from Malaysia and she loves Spam.

But for something gross, here's a clip from a video I did for a new-biz presentation (for our local electric utility) from years ago. Note: this was before I got into doing film stuff, so it's not too suave (that's pronounce swayv, btw):

Right click or option-click and save, people!

A SPAM museum? What would they fill it with? Don't they only make cans of SPAM?

See, I would have loaded up on Vodka before I ate that crap... but that's just me.
Heh heh...

Homage to Bass-O-Matic. :)

Heck yeah! Even though I was around five or six when the Bass-O-Matic hit the airwaves. Dang, I was advanced in my comedic absorption. And now, stunted.

Horse-- I always wanted to stop by the museum on my drives between KC and Minneapolis back when I was pitching woo to my wife. Fortunately for all involved, I found her much more attractive than the engineered meat product and continued along I-35.

For random Effect:

I'm gonna include a tin of 'Spam' in the background shots of my Spy-Fest Short.

Hmm, shooting out spam instead of bullets in slow-mo

Oh and that picture looks like retarded slippers....lots of them.

Hey, we should make that a fest requirement. Instead of a specific name, there has to be a shot of SPAM somewhere in there.
