This should be common knowledge by now, but I'll bet it isn't. Do you guys all know about Newegg? I get a ton of stuff from them... and anyway, almost a year ago now I signed up for their newsletter email.

About 4 or so times per week I just look at it and delete it, but they've got me trained to look at it every time.

I'm sure I posted this before... but in one of those newsletters you could get Sennheiser HD280pro SHIPPED for under $65. Now that's a bargain folks.

In today's newsletter they have HD 280 pro + Sansa 1gb mp3 player for $99 shipped. The Sansa is normally a $40 item and my girlfriend just happens to NEED one of these things... so I'm thinking about getting a spare pair of 280 cans.

You have to get the email to get the deals... because you sign in at newegg and then enter the code at checkout.

If this is spam then feel free to delete it, but please don't mark it as "spam"... because I'd hate to think I sank that low. :huh:
 
The only reason I posted this here is because of the constant 7506 vs. 280 headphone debates.

BTW... newegg isn't always the best price either. They've almost got me trained to think that they are... but recently I wanted to get some hub printable DVDs... and I read all the reviews for any that were top rated... apparently the best brand is one called Taiyo Yuden... and newegg had 'em for $35 + $10 ship... and meritline (who actually does NOT have high ratings, but worked out great for me)... had 'em for $34.95 SHIPPED... and that place got a blank DVD customer for life.

Anyway... I hate talking general prices and using a company name like this... because it does sound spammy... but anytime you can get a pair of 280's for $65 I'm going to tell you about it. :beer:

Their 24 hour sales are the best deals. I once waited until midnight to pounce on a 24" 1920x1080 BenQ monitor that had better specs than the Apple Cinema Display for only $289 with free shipping! Not a refurb, just a great deal. Because of that I was able to afford dual 1920x1080 displays, which makes working in pro apps a much better experience.
 
IMO their harddrive prices are some of the best around. A few months back there were 500gb and 750gb drives going for dirt cheap. I wanted to stock up on some but then remembered, I'm broke.
 
I've been a happy Newegg customer for years. And on a related note, congratulations to Matt Gettemeier for recently being named Head of Covert Marketing for Newegg.

after subscribing, the first email they sent me includes a special offer on a gas grill. i found this to be very disturbing (look at my location).

Hey I like the new wall colors... and I'm glad you finally mowed the lawn, but would it hurt you to put some yews out in the front yard? Preferably of the medium size globe variety... and space them about every 8' leading up to the front window. :)
