I was wondering if anyone knows of any internship type jobs down here in South Florida. I'm a 19year student at FAU, which has little to no production for their "film" program, I have such a deep pasion for photography and especially cinematography but I feel there is little I can do with it here since finding work is next to impossible it seems.
I'm looking for internship type things only because I really just want someone or a company for me to learn from, refine my skills, and get more things under a portfolio (even small things) so I can transfer to an actual film school.
It's a little depressing having these strong feelings for film, even purcahsed an HMC150 with my own money, yet little to nothing to do with it, even my own ideas are difficult to even get started due to me not being able to find anyone to work with/help out. I do practice one random things when I can though obviously.
Anyone sorry for the long explanation, I'm posting this here because I'm looking for cinematography specific things, since in the long run my goal is to be a DP. Any information would be really helpful, not sure if there is anyone even around here to help me but who knows.
Thanks in advance
