sources for NDs

Anyone can recommend place to purchase relatively inexpensive 4x4 ND filters (glass).

At B&H the cheapest 4x4 glass filters are $160/piece.

Why so cheap Patryk? :)

Really cheap filters, in the past, have reduced my contrast and sharpness. I now only go for the most expensive filter, simply for piece of mind.

To be honest with you, buying used filters may be better. I know a place that is selling a huge inventory of used filters. They have used Tiffen ND's at around $95. I'd go that route. PM me your email, and I'll forward the spread sheets they sent me about a week ago with their used filter inventory.

Cheap filter are just that cheap. Call Film Video Equipment in Denver they are liquidating their whole stock. You will get a good filter at save a few bucks.

I would not attempt to speak for Patryk, but a lot of times, the question, "Who has the cheapest....", really means, "Who has the best quality stuff at the lowest price". I just always have this feeling, when dropping significant moolah with B&H or Film Tools, that there is some bad ass specialty boutique re-seller out there, that I don't know about, that has the stuff I want, at 25% off.

Yeah, OK, and I believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and ALL of the JFK assassination theories too!

Try talking to Erik Olson, he's a mod here and his company is a CAVision dealer, so he can probably answer pretty authoritatively.

Yes, cheap as in "good stuff for less then B&H prices."

I looked into these Cavision filters and it looks like the quality is a bit low - discolorations and sharpness loss.
