Hey guys, hope someone can help me out here.
In my FCP timeline I have a clip that I've slowed down by 50% The audio in FCP then also slows, which is the effect I"m going for. The actor saying "No!" turns into "NOOOOOOOO!" you got the idea. However when i bring my timeline into Soundtrack pro to finish it, that clip doesn't transfer in slow-mo, at least the audio doesn't. I tried to save just the audio from that clip in FCP and import it to soundtrack and that didn't work. I tried to bring it over at normal speed, but I can't get it to slow down in soundtrack. I'll admit I am new to soundtrack so that might explain why I can't figure it out. I thought by CTRL clicking the clip in soundtrack and choosing speed I'd be albe to make the adjustment there but that option is "greyed out" if you know what I'm saying. Does anyone know of a workaround for this? Or should I just finish my soundtrack without that slowed sound, then bring it back into FCP and use the slowed audio clip that works there?
Thanks.
