Anyone have online resources for soundtracks or orchestral loops? I'm looking for moody, thrubbing bass and tense strings. Ya know, the stuff in War of the Worlds, Dark Knight, etc.
Oh, and I'm looking for free or cheap, not pirated.
This has been covered many times - everyone here seems to have their favorite site. Do a search for royalty free music (or royalty-free music) to get the full list.
My favorite is http://www.shockwave-sound.com. Their prices are good, their licensing is clear and fairly priced. And, they give you comping versions of everything on their site so you can try it before you buy it.
