Soundminer Db for Digital Juice SFX

It's been a pain to use SM with DJ FX libraries. Neither SM nor DJ have been particularly helpful. SM has some sort of legit reasons I won't go into, but DJ has just dropped the ball and not even made a file list available.
Anyway I have a solution for FX V2 (I may have one for V1 also), IF you are using V4. It's a lot more of a pain if your still on V3 because there is no automated relinking.
So if you email me I will send you a V3 db that has the file names and DJ descriptions.

What you need to do is import the V3 db into V4 and relink to the files you have copied of the DJ FX2 DVD's onto your HD. If you want to use them as is your set. I wanted more informative file names and to convert it all down to 48/24 so I then "rescanned" the files. You need to do this or "Mirror" wont work. And this step I ran into a glitch that you may have to deal with and that is that about 1800 files lost there descriptions, so I would recomend embedding the metadata before you rescan the files. THen "mirror" the whole db at whatever SR and bit depth you want and you can auto rename the files at the same time.

So if you have SM and the DJ FX2 drop me a line. I also have the FX1 but I'm not sure if I have the original db before I changed all the file names so, if you want/ need that also I'll look and see.
