SoundForge/Sony Impulses

Has anyone used this for ADR and such? Successful? Worth the effort?

(For those that don't know what it is, you run tones in a location, record them, then process the result for use with other audio later. It applies the ambience of the location to the later-recorded audio.)

Re: SoundForge/Sony Impulses

I use sound forge to do all my ADRs. I've been using sound forge for 5 years now and I love it. So youre not the only one.

But what about recording Impulses to create the envelopes, rather than recording "the room" and mixing the ADR into it?

Re: SoundForge/Sony Impulses

well, I guess youre the first. I've never really recorded impulses. I use presets. :)
