soundeffect question?

Dear all,

First of all a good new year to everybody!!
I have a question about a soundeffect I would like to add to my audio in a project. I wanna end a song in the middle of it with the effect like it is getting stuck. Like a tape that is getting stuck in the recorder. Who has any advice how to do this? Thanks in advance.

If you mean like slowed down to a stop, then in Pro Tools there's a plugin that will do that. Not sure how you would do it in FCP. Generally it would be a speed changing plugin that you would automate so it keeps getting slower till it stops.
If that is the FX your looking for and you don't find a way in FCP drop me an email and you can send me the part you want the FX on and I'll process the clip and send it back to you.
