sound vanishes... premiere 2.0

I started a project at 29.97. I cut and pasted everthing into a 24p project and it seems to work fine.. (It's all panned still images so it works fine)

I work for awhile and save... come back the next day and the audio tracks don't play. The place holders for the audio are there but there are no wave forms in them.

I can cut and past from the older 29.97 project again but I'd like to know what is going on??

Strange... maybe try refreshing the connections to the files.

Right click on the audio clip in the project window, and go "Unlink Media...", "Media Files Remain on Disk"

Then right-click on it again and go "Link Media..." and choose the proper file.
 
Yep that did it.. I think you meant to say "make offline" instead of "unlink media" but I understood the direction you were sending me in... and it works!

For some reason the cut and pasting of those files screwed up the link.
