Sound Sync in Premiere

Hi

I'm at the start of editing my first short and am learning on the job. Bear with me.

I have the video assembled as a rough cut on the timeline of Premiere CS6 and am now faced with syncing sound. How on earth do I do this quickly? Is it a case of doing it all manually?

Any help appreciated.

Without extra plugins it's pretty much a manual thing. If you know which audio files go with which clips and slated properly this is easy. Otherwise you can use a word as your sound to mark on.
