sound effects help

I need some help with the latest vegas , HOW DO CAN YOU USE SOUND EFFECTS DOWNLOADED FROM LIKE FIND SOUNDS .COM AND USE THEM IN YOUR FILM? I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW!!!!:angry:

What exactly is your problem? I just tried it and it works fine. You simply load the WAV downloaded file in your "media bin" and then on your timeline at the point you want it to be listenable.

I have saved all my sounds to a custom sounds file and when I try to load the file to work on my media manager , it does not work. :angry:

Well, duh. If you are using non-standard formats that's what you get. Use WAVE if you care about compatibility (which is what findsounds.com offers anyway), mp3 if you have storage concerns, and that's about it. Everything else is a hit and miss with software. They might support it, or they might not.
