Sound Devices PIX 240 - for audio quality

[Barry_Green]

Anyone tested a PIX 240 for the quality of audio it records, especially in comparison to something like a 702T or 744T?

Exactly the same in my experience.

Yeah, what my sound guy says (and he used to swear on his 744T). No difference in quality, they probably use the same components.

i did a shoot last month with an F3 to a 240 and client preferred me to run sound to the 240 instead of through camera, but from what i could tell on playback, sounded great...
