Sound Devices 442 limiters

Does anyone know whether the channel limiters on the 442 are before the direct outs or after the direct outs? I'm currently running a PSC Alphamix and using the direct channels outs for ISO tracking to a DR-680. The Alphamix has nice limiters on the mix output but no channel limiters. Right now I am using the DR-680s channel limiters but if the 442 has it's channel limiters before the direct outputs, I'd consider switching to take advantage of the better limiters. Otherwise, I think I'll sit tight and save for the Zaxcom Nomad.

442 Specs quote .. Input Limiters: affects the output of the mic preamps only ('Trim' stage), +18 dBu threshold, 20:1 limiting ratio, 1 mS attack time, 200 mS release time

Output Limiters: threshold selectable from +4 dBu to +20 dBu, 1 dB steps, 20:1 limiting ratio, 1 mS attack time,
