I was just having a discussion on the latest tracks for my film. My sound designer is f **king amazing. The latest rough mix i watched tonight felt like an entirely new film to me. Stunning really.
I went back and watched the first assembly of my film as a nice contrast to how far I've come, and boy, what a difference.
An obvious statement I know, but I've come to the conclusion that the reason 95% of the short films I see suck, are because of atrocious sound editing. Or lack thereof.
We are finishing up my films for a screening of them on Oct 1. Hopefully in a few months I will put them on my site for everyone to see.
