sonys´new 1/2.3 sensor does 720/120p

It does more than 1080/60p, the sensor itself can capture a 4,000 x 3,000 image at 42 frames a second. It can also capture a 1332x1,000 image at 120 fps. Let's expect that cheap 4K cameras will be very common place in the next year or so.

Just so everyone knows, the Sony Z7 does 250FPS, and has done for quite a while. Does it in 1080 too. It does bursts of three, six or twelve seconds, and the longer your burst is, the more compressed the image is. It records to an internal buffer then lays it out to tape or CF card.

The Z7 is a fantastic camera, was released just as the EX1 was, and everyone totally ignored it. My Z7 is great, and im very glad I chose it over the EX1.
