Sony Vegas 6

BHPhoto has the Sony Vegas 6 CD only for $100. I want to know if I can burn
my work to a DVD with this or do I need a second software package? I like
the entry level price even though Vegas 8 is almost out. I'm just learning
editing and want to move beyond Adobe's elements software package.
I really like the trial versions of Vegas and wanted to get started with
Vegas 6 and the class on demand DVD tutorial because of the price point.
Any advice for a newbie would be helpful.

Is it Vegas 6 by itself, or does it include DVD Architect? You need DVDA (or another DVD authoring program) for DVD burning.

Here is the link to what I want.

Is the $50 DVD Architect the same as what comes with the vegas
production Bundle? I don't mind if this is only the NLE but didn't know
if DVD architect 4 would work with this or if there was a better one out
there. Vegas really impresses me but I'm not ready for version 7 or 8.
I just want to learn it before I move up the version ladder.

The B&H Vegas 6 deal does not include DVD Architect. The $50 DVD Architect is the "Movie Studio" version. It may be cheaper to buy Vegas 6 now for $99 and then UPGRADE to Vegas Pro 8. Or... VideoGuys will sell you Vegas 7+DVD now with a free upgrade to Vegas Pro 8 once it's released.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know that the $50 dvd architect was the
layman's version. Appreciate the information guys.
