Sony V1U + Letus 35 + Steadicam

I'm trying to find a way to mount my V1U with an attached Letus + Lens onto a Steadicam for a sequence in a short film.

I don't really know much about steadicams, but I know the added weight is going to make things difficult. What do you suggest as a steadicam option and/or counterweight options for this setup.

I know the V1U is generally lighter than something like the HVX200, but it still might be too topheavy. I'll probably use support rods too.

Thanks!

Generally a 35mm adapter rig weights somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-20 lbs. So you're looking at a Steadicam Flyer LE and above for that kind of weight range. That's gonna be pretty expensive to buy and if you don't know much about Steadicam then the result won't be good since it take months of practice to even get familiar with one. I would just hire somebody with the equipment and experience.
