Sony price dumps in EU

So, I just received an email from a distributor in the UK and started checking them out. They pretty much all took a price hit. This made me call one of the local guys in Denmark to hear if it was a general thing and it is...

Just to give an example, the FS7 II with the 18-110 lens kit is currently priced at 13.285 euros. On monday the price will be around 10900 euros :O That's a massive price dump.

Makes me wonder if this solely a response to keep people from buying the C200 and EVA-1 or if they got something else coming. Also makes me hope that this will affect the day 1 price of the EVA-1.... hopefully making it less than say 7.500 instead.

What say you... will you wait, or is this Sony move what inclines you to buy the decent FS7?

The prices have been reduced down to where they were 2 years ago before the prices were raised recently due to the strengthening of the Yen.

The Sony FS7 MkI still represents the best value camera money can buy. An awesome camera by any measure.

Great news! We must wait that price will be also available in rest of Europe.
 
Had my FS7 two years already. With small cameras like a7S II filling my niche needs, its really going to take a heck of an upgrade to make me part with my FS7. Its probably staying for years to come.
