Thanks for posting that last clip.

What was the lighting?

Is the greenish-yellowish tint "true" or is that a false color from a off white-balance?

The 0 dB portion looks very good noise wise.

The ship's own lighting; basically a pretty haphazard bunch of fluorescent and incandescent lights.

I left the camera set to outdoors WB -- not entirely deliberately, but I'm kind of glad I did, since it captures the real atmosphere of the ship, rather than neutralizing it out. Most of the paint is some shade of green, or green/blue, too; so it really has a kind of Matrix feel.

I suspect it would have been, if I'd thought of it, unless I did it every shot. There was a huge mix of lighting types from different eras.

But I guess I would choose not to, since that would unnaturally even everything out, and "even" really isn't the feel of the place. Of course it would depend totally on what you were going for.
