Sony MDR7506 slipping forward off head

Any ideas how to combat this? I've mounted a little bluetooth receiver on the middle top of the headband portion, so it makes it a little more prone to drooping but this has always been a little bit of an issue and now more so. I've adjusted them repeatedly but they seem to slip off with movement.

Open to modifying them if need be. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

wear a hat (seriously) a nice soft cloth baseball cap will help even if you have to wear it the 'douche' way with the bill backwards. the cloth will create a natural cradle for the headband.

If all else fails there is always a staple gun. But use the 1/4" staples, the 1 1/2" ones are hard to pull out.

This is what I was going to suggest. We have 7506's in the studio, and I've never had that problem, but then again I'm not running around trying to catch dialogue with a boompole when I've got them on.

The above-quoted description of the "other way" to wear a baseball cap is-- priceless.

I've always had this problem of the 7506 headphones slipping off my head, so I switched to the Sennheiser HD280 headphones.

I just had a thought re: headphone slippage. This may seem like a somewhat radical solution, but it all depends on your perspective, the severity of your level of annoyance with the slippage, and perhaps your willingness to buy or not buy new phones... Anyway, here's an idea, if you like the 7506's:

Find a hat that's comfortable to wear with the phones on. Velcro the headband on the 7506's, and velcro the top of the hat, making sure everything is in a comfortable position. Voila! Zee Headphone Hat (tm)!
