Does anyone know a decent 3rd party shutter controller solution for the HVR-1500A cassette deck? Trying to avoid to getting Sony's recommended DSRM10 Control S Remote. Its just needed for some EP's to review footage and not for post. Seems like we may be able to buy one cheaper vs. the rate our rental house wants to charge for the DSRM10.

I've seen a few like the Contour Shuttle Xpress and Mirror Image makes one around $150. Any thoughts?
