Hi i was wondering about sound quality.

Which of the following will have better sound quality :

- Sony HNR-NX30 with the shotgun that is furnished with the camcorder

- Sony AX100 (4k) with a rodevideo mic pro

Thanks for any feedback,

If your shooting videos of your kids birthday parties then either would do, if your trying to improve your audio on shoots (and looking toward the future) take the one with XLR's and phantom power.... A no brainer in my mind.

To answer your specific question: Neither. A microphone mounted ON the camera, no matter what brand or model, is almost NEVER a good choice for picking up decent audio.
Unless you are going for distant ambient noise, combined with the sounds of the camera and operator.

I agree with OzGizmo. A camera with proper XLR mic inputs is almost infinitely superior to anything with 3.5mm mini-jack.
Furthermore, IMHO, "4K" is the latest fad. The previous fad had a similar name. Remember "3D" what ever happened to that?
They aren't even using 4K at most movie theater/cinema venues, with super-humongous screens, at least that I have seen.

Furthemore, I strongly suspect that mini-shotgun mic provided with the HXR-NX30 is at least the equal (if not superior) to the little Rode thing.

While the audio advice is ok, the gratuitous rant about 4K is ignorant of the immediate benefits of 4K- Downrezzed to HD, you get better resolution than any HD cameras or camcorders (almost none of which achieve true HD resolution - especially the NX30). You also get 4:2:2 color sampling as opposed to the usual 4:2:0. In addition you can crop and zoom in post with no loss in HD resolution. So shooting 4K you get more detail, better color and more creative options for HD. Benefits without anyone owning 4K TV's. 4K video quality is immediately visible on any viewing device.

4k looks nice. but why does the image has so much vibration ? on my big screen high resolution computer screen its good. But on my new laptop (that has a bit less resolution), it has much vibration in 4k!!

You laptops processor is probably having a harder time decoding the video..it has nothing to do with the source being 4K, in fact vimeo is only showing it in HD. The video is also 29.97 so it requires more processing power than typical 24P footage.
