Sony HDV and premiere?

I am trying to edit and export sony HDV footage shot on and HDR-FX1. When I export out of premiere it reduces quality and resolution to 16:9 DV. Ive tried exporting with CineForm HD codec which is what works in AE fine. My question is, does anyone know what the best way to export sony HDV out of premiere is?

After you edit you want to use Adobe Media Encoder which will give more control over your output formats like 1080 or 720 and file types like Windows Media HD or Quick Time etc.

Two ways. The windows Media 1080/720p preset in the Media Encoder will do a good job (just have to change the audio codec to 9.1 instead of 8.1 Pro). Or if you want QT, render out an uncompressed avi and encode to h.264 via QT pro.
