Hi, guys.
I'm shooting some spoken-word shows for a friend soon and will be using my Sony HDR-HC1E camera. The input for external mics is suited to an 1/8th inch jack. The external mic has a quarter-inch jack so I'll need to get a female-to-male converter. How might the converter affect the sound, if at all?
Will the AudioTechnica mic be compatible with the cam? (I cannot see my friend at the moment as he is overseas and will return a day prior to shooting).
