Sony HD camera.

[DVX100Shooter]

One of the engineers at my job told me today that Sony is planning on releasing a MiniDV HD camera sometime soon. The camera is supposed to be able to shoot in 1080i format. He said that they are just bypassing the whole 24p format and going right to HD with 1080i. Anyone here about this? When it comes out it sounds like that would be a contender to out camera.

Re: Sony HD camera.

Yea I checked the thread out...I work in TV and one of the guys at work told me about it...He knew about it for some time now. I am so content with my DVX100 that I had no idea that Sony was about to come out with something.
