So i just purchased the HD700 deck, to capture the tapes i have, instead of using a friends handheld HD camera and my DV camera.
I've been using Cineform HDlink the whole time to capture the HD footage, and CS3 to capture the SD tapes, respectively.
I tried to test capture some HD and SD footage using the deck, via premiere but its telling me "Can't activate recorder, try resetting camera".
Oh i should say, i was in DV - NTSC SD preset project when i tried it, when trying to capture SD footage.
i switched to an HD cineform preset project, i'm able to control the deck, but no image appears and record is not available, it also tells me "capture device off-line" yet i can still control the deck.
HDlink works perfectly with the deck, so thats not a problem, but i'd still like to resolve the problem so i can capture SD using the deck, instead of using my handheld dv camcorder.
