Sony FS 100 - Some (techinical) questions

Hello everybody,

I have some questions concerning my Sony FS 100 and I thought it's best to but them all into one thread:

1. I'll travell in August and I'm goinig to be in the nature quite often. Due to the fact that the FS 100 is not as lovely
weather-sealed as many Stills Cameras I wanted to ask: How can I protect my FS-100 from damage of the nature?
(normally humans destroy things, what a paradox :laugh:) Are there existing products? I don't plan to go under water with
it, but a decent protection would be very great.

2. The Firmware 2.0 brought the switch between NTSC & PAL. When I go to the REC SET I just can switch betwenn the PAL
formats. How do I get the 24.30 & 60 fps? (Firmeware 2.0 is on ther camera)

3. There should be the possiblity to save picture profiles.; how do I do that? I asked google but havn't quite found an answer...

1. Haven't seen any commercially made products myself. Clear plastic bag with holes cut for lens and LCD and secured with tape and/or rubber bands, to allow see-through access to those fiddly little buttons. Plus it folds up small in your bag.

2. as mentioned above: MENU/OTHERS/60i/50i SEL
You can't mix the different standards on the same recording media, so if you are changing back and forth you'll need to either keep track of your cards or re-format them
