I haven't had the chance to drop big cash on decent audio equipment for my dvx100b, so I am working with what I have. I have this sony lav mic and it's 3.5mm miniplug and I am using a xlr adapter for it. The adapter works fine with my rode video mic(which is also 3.5mm) but when I plug in my lav, I can't get any audio from it. I've spent a decent amount of time messing with all the input and channel switches but it just doesn't seem to be getting any audio. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be wrong? Just a cheap product and that's the results it'll give?
