Sony CineAlta 4K Six Lens Kit, What's your thought

I just ordered a set and will be doing a test once I get my hands on them. I played with the 85 & 135 when I was checking out cameras at Microsearch and was impressed with them (though I only was hands on a few minutes). For the 13k price point, I doubt they can be beat. Only thing in the price range that is really comparable in price/performance are the forthcoming SLR magic apo lenses, and so far they only have the 50mm.

I bought these primarily as daily use lenses, and the fact that they will all match well with each other. In the past I had some problems with CP2's image being all over the place between lenses.

Exactly what I am thinking, it's a great price for PL. The couple videos I saw were very soft , not sure if it's because they were wide open or what, would love to see a good test to check out sharpness and color rendition.

I wish they would ship a week quicker than the 2-4 week estimate. Would have a great commercial spot to try them out on...otherwise might just have to convince the wife to help me do a little tabletop food test with them.

Oh waw, I guess it's a special order. Table top food would work great, I am sure they will be fine at say T8, what I want to know if they are too soft at T2.0 to T2.5. Do you know how long the sale is for, B&H website doesn't mention.

I'm not sure...from what I read on the internet the price break is only for the US because they overstoked the number of PL kits. So I would assume it's until they sell off a certain number. I see that the deal is over at Abel Cine as well, and I imagine any other certified reseller. I can't be the only person who bought a set, but since its a hefty chunk of change, even though it's a bargain I would imagine it might be around for a little bit. Perhaps it's also a pre NAB thing as well.

Thanks for that, the Japanese one was nice to see since it's out in the field getting real shots. Test footage is usually so uninspiring....
