Sony brand tapes.

Who uses Sony tapes in their cam? Either the premium or excellence. I know most people reccomend the Panasonic tapes, but I have a really good hookup for Sony tapes. Anyone got some input?

Re: Sony brand tapes.

I use Sony Premiums and nothing but. Of course Panasonic recommends using their tapes...so does Sony in their cameras and JVC in their cameras. The real issue is just use one brand of tape and stick with one.

I also use Sony Premiums in my DVX100A.

Been using them and their DVCAM stock for years in multiple cameras and decks.
