As far as I know it has Blue only, underscan, SMPTE-C phospor etc.
For 400 used, is this a good buy??? I need to use it for color corrections and regular post-stuff related work. Pls let me know ASAP what do you guys think.
Used monitors are always a risky buy -- it depends on how much it was used. Is there screen burn-in? Does it have 16:9 mode? $400's not a lot, you can buy 1354Q's off ebay for around $400-$450. But I know a guy who went through like three of them before finding one that was satisfactory, the others all had problems.
thanks barry..thisone is actually off ebay..What other place would you suggest to get monitors. I tried one of the sellers on ebay called David Riddle Co. and called him but that guy was so pushy that I just to told him I'm not interested. Even though he sells calibrated monitors...anyone knows this guy or bought anything from him??
I have no recommendations for used monitors... like I say, buying used monitors is tricky. I'd recommend going for new if at all possible. A new Panasonic BT-H1390Y goes for around $1100 or so at EVS and B&H... but that's 3x the price of the used one, so I understand the appeal of used, I just don't know how you can go about safeguarding yourself and be sure that you're getting $400 worth of monitor...
